The World Congress of the Crimean Tatars elected its president


On the first day of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, held in Ankara, delegates elected president. The head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov, who remained in this position for the previous six years, again became the president. The leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev refused to run for presidency.
