Around 6 PM on April 18, the Russia-led terrorist forces opened an intensive fire at one of the strongholds of the 1 Battalion of 14 Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Mariinka settlement near Donetsk. Ukrainian troops had to fire in return by Kalashnikov 7`62 mm machine gans and Degtiariov-Shpagin high-caliber 12'7 mm, as well as by RPG-18 'Fly' grenade launchers.
